The History of Olde School Construction...
Ken and Jennifer Hanlin are the owners of Olde School Construction, Inc., a small, family run construction company based in Adams County, Pennsylvania. Together as husband and wife they started the company after many hours of prayer and years of experience.
Ken S. Hanlin was born and raised in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania and has been in construction his entire life. He was fortunate enough to work for a company which not only instilled in him the importance of quality craftsmanship, but also provided him with a wide range of knowledge and experience- from pouring foundation footers clean up through the finishing trim.
His background in the building industry includes 20 years of building high-end custom homes in some of Central Pennsylvania’s most distinguished developments. He has a total of over 30 years in residential carpentry experience, and during those years he has acquired an expansive set of skills and knowledge in his field of work.

In June of 2008, Ken decided it was time to start his own company- allowing him to establish a reputation of his own based upon his own personal values and skills. Olde School Construction, Inc., is more than just a business- it is a reflection of who his is. Ken is recognized as a Certified roofing installer through the GAF/ELK Corporation. In addition, he is licensed through the PA Attorney General's Home Improvement Contractor Registration program.
Ken’s wife, Jennifer, is involved in the business in a variety of capacities and their daughter, Alexis, has been known to work for her father during the summer months. Therefore, you may get the opportunity to meet the whole family.
Our motto at OSC is: “To provide quality workmanship, service at a fair price!” We stand by the motto and uphold it.
